Adair Park
Adair Street
A four-acre park adjacent to the historic Mary Gay House, Swanton House and log cabin where Decatur’s annual Heritage Festival is held. The park is near the Swanton Heights and Lenox Place communities, and has picnic tables with trash receptacles and a playground area. An off-leash area is provided for Decatur residents whose dogs obey voice command. Street parking only.

Ebster Park

A large multipurpose field is a key feature at this five-acre neighborhood recreational facility. There is a pool house with swimming pool, a small pavilion with tables and grills, basketball courts and a playground area. The Decatur Youth Sports and Renfroe Middle School soccer and lacrosse programs use the field. The park shares a parking lot with Ebster Center and the Beacon Hill artists.

Glenlake Park & Pool

A 17-acre park with picnic tables, grills and trash receptacles, swimming pool and pool house, picnic pavilion, and a tennis center with five courts. There is a small upper field and a lower youth baseball field, a basketball/volleyball court, playground area, and an enclosed dog park for Decatur residents and their pets.

Hidden Cove Park

A three-acre park directly behind the former Westchester Elementary School, offering a perfect place for a walk or some quiet time on a sunny day. The Westchester community has worked hard to preserve and beautify the park with native plants and a nature trail along the creek. Parking is available in the school parking lot after 5 p.m. on weekdays and on Saturdays and Sundays.

Located on .75 acre of land next to Oakhurst School, the park offers a large, open, grassy area, play structure, basketball court and shaded picnic tables. Parking is available during out-of-school hours in the Oakhurst School parking lot.

McKoy Park

A nine-acre neighborhood recreational facility with a 330-foot baseball field that is fenced and lighted, a picnic pavilion with restrooms, a concession/scoring building, a basketball court for recreation play, picnic tables with grills and trash receptacles, a playground area, a skate park, and a greenspace for games. There is also an outdoor classroom with seat walls at the playground. Two separate parking areas and concrete walkways connect the site features. McKoy is the home of Decatur High School’s varsity baseball team and DRCSD’s adult softball programs.

Oakhurst Park
307 Feld Ave.
An eight-acre neighborhood recreational facility with two multipurpose fields, a picnic pavilion with restrooms, and a concession/scoring building. There are two lighted tennis courts, a basketball court and a playground area. Two separate parking areas with walkways connect the site features. Oakhurst Park is home to Agnes Scott and DHS women’s softball and Decatur Youth Sports baseball and girls softball. Oakhurst Dog Park is on East Lake Drive, adjacent to the Boys & Girls Club.

Directly behind Decatur Recreation Center and adjacent to the Decatur Library, the four acres of Scott Park are surrounded by gardens planted by Master Gardeners Carolyn Krueger, Jim Toney and other volunteers. Treat yourself to its serenity and beauty. Two lighted tennis courts are available for rental. Parking is available in the library/recreation center parking deck.

Waddell Park
